This recipe of stuffed peppers is different from the Romanian traditional rice recipe that we are used to, but this is much more tasty.
The cleaned peppers are filled only with mince meat (pork in my case) spiced with salt, pepper, garlic, sweet pepper,green onion, parsley, all placed in the ceramic bowl of the slow cooker Crock Pot with Autostir of 5.7l (click here), only with a cup of water because the composition does not contain rice and the meat will leave enough juice.Set the pot for 6 hours on the low function.
Separately, in the slow 3L manual slow cooker (click here), the vegetables were made for the sauce: 1 onion, 3 carrots, 2 parsley, a piece of celery, a lot of tomato sauce, cinnamon, honey, salt, pepper. Everything for 4 hours on high. At the end, blend the vegetables .
Remove the peppers in another pot, put the sauce over them and cook in the oven until all the juice is lowered.
It was realy delicious!
Aceasta reteta de ardei umpluti este diferita de reteta traditionala cu orez, cu care suntem obisnuiti dar trebuie incercata si aceasta varianta foarte gustoasa.
Ardeii curatati sunt umpluti doar cu carne tocata ( de porc in cazul meu ) condimentata cu sare, piper, usturoi, boia de ardei dulce, ceapa verde, patrunjel se aseaza in vasul ceramic al slow cooker-ului Crock Pot cu Autostir de 5,7l(click aici) , doar cu o cana de apa deoarece compozitia nu contine orez si carnea va lasa suficienta zeama, si se seteaza oala pentru 6 ore pe functia low.
Separat, in slow cooker-ul manual de 3l(click aici) s-au facut legumele ptentru sos: 1 ceapa calita, 3 morcovi, 2 pastarnac, o bucata telina,mult sos de rosii, scortisoara, miere, sare, piper. Totul pentru 4 ore pe functia high. La sfarsit se baga tate legumele la blender.
Se scot ardeii in alt vas, se pune sosul peste ei si se dau la cuptor pana scade toata zeama .
Sunt de-a dreptul deliciosi!
