Tocana “dulce”/Sweet stew

This “sweet” stew is an “invented” one with ingredients available at the time. In this case we do not have exact ingredients.

I used boned chicken meat, cut into strips that had been marinated before with soy sauce, brown sugar, salt, pepper, garlic, which I threw in the slow cooker programmed for 4 hours on high. After 2 hours I added a mixture of frozen vegetables and caramelized carrots.

We do not add water because both meat and vegetables leave enough juice. In this case it was even necessary to add a tablespoon of cornstarch to thicken the composition.

Aceasta tocanita “dulce” este una “inventata” cu ingrediente disponibile in acel moment . In acest caz nu avem ingrediente exacte.

Am folosit carne din pulpa de pui dezosata ,taiata fasii ce a stat in prealabil la marinat cu sos de soia, zahar brun, sare, piper, usturoi , pe care am aruncat-o in slow cookerul programat pentru 4 ore pe high. Dupa 2 ore am adaugatun amestec de legume congelate si morcovi caramelizati.

Nu adaugam apa deoarece atat carnea cat si legumele lasa suficienta zeama . In acest caz chiar a fost cazul sa adaug si o lingura de amidon din porumb pentru a ingrosa compozitia.
