Dulceata de ceapa/Onion jam



Ingredients:

  • 1 kg red onion;
  • 1/2 lemon juice;
  • 100 gr brown sugar;
  • 4 tablespoons oil;
  • 50ml balsamic vinegar;
  • 100 ml red wine;
  • a pinch of salt,cayenne pepper and nutmeg.

Clean and cut julienne the onions and  add the lemon juice over. In the 4.5l Duraceramic Crock Pot bowl add the oil, the onions and cook on medium heat a few minutes until the onions becomes glossy.Then add the sugar , spices and let to cook for another few minutes when you need to add the wine and the balsamic vinegar.

Set the slow cooker for 3 hours on high and use an absorbent towel.

  • 1/2 lamaie;
  • 100 gr zahar brun;
  • 4 linguri ulei;
  • 50 ml otet balsamic;
  • 100 ml vin rosu partial dezalcoolizat;
  • un praf de sare, piper cayenne si nucsoara.

Ceapa curatata, spalata, taiata fasii, stropita cu zeama de lamaie se pune in vasul Crock Pot-ului Duraceramic de 4,5l(click aici) cu uleiul , la foc mediu pana ce aceasta devine lucioasa. Se adauga si zaharul , condimentele si se mai lasa cateva minute dupa care se stinge cu vin si otetul balsamic.Totul, se transfera in vasul slow cooker-ului pentru 3 ore pe functia high cu prosop absorbant.
