Gammon cu ananas/Gammon with pineapple

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg gammon joint;
  • 1 can (425 gr) pineapple rings in natural juice;
  • 300 ml pork stock;
  • spices:salt, ground pepper, hot chilli, paprika,garlic powder;
  • 500 gr potatoes to serve;
  • 50 gr butter.

Mix the pineapple juice with the pork stock and the spices. In a bowl, place the meat and then pour the liquid over it, cover the bowl and let to rest over night in fridge.

Next day place half of the pineapple slices in your slow cooker bowl , then the gammon joint surround with the potatoes already mixed with melted butter and condiments. Place the rest of pineapple rings on top of your meat and set the slow cooker for 4 hours on high.

If you like you can brown the potatoes for 10-15 minutes in your preheated oven.

  • 1 conserva( 425 gr) ananas inele in suc propriu;
  • 300 ml stock de porc;
  • condimente dupa plac: sare , piper, pudra chilli, usturoi pudra, boia de ardei;
  • 500 gr cartofi pentru garnitura;
  • 50 gr unt.

Intr-un bol adauga bucata intreaga de gammon peste carne rastoarna amestecul din sucul de ananas, stock-ul de porc si condimente. Acopera vasul si lasa la marinat peste noapte la rece in frigider.

A doua zi in vasul slow cooker-ului tau dauga jumatate din inelele de ananas, peste aseaza carnea fara lichid, aseaza si cartofii deja amestecati cu unt topit si condimentele preferate. Deasupra carnii aseaza si restul de ananas si seteaza slow cooker-ul pentru 4 ore pe functia high.

Dupa preferinta cartofii pot fi rumeniti in cuptorul preincalzit pentru 10-15 minute.
