For 1 kg lamb leg I used 3 tablespoons of mint sauce, 1 tablespoon of oregano, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, orange juice, 100 ml red wine, salt, pepper to taste.
Put the meat together with the rest of the ingredients in a zip bag, remove the air from the bag and close it. Massage the meat very well and leave it in the fridge for 24 hours.
If you don’t have a mint sauce bought, you can make one at home very easily.
1 bunch fresh mint
150 ml rice vinegar
60 ml water
40 gr brown sugar
optional and a little coriander
Mix the ingredients in a mortar and pestle until a viscous composition results or mix them in a blender.
Add the marinated meat with all the sauce in your slow cooker bowl and set the pot for 3.5 hours on high.
Used a special meat thermometer to check when the meat is cooked enough.
The juicy and very soft meat, slightly flavored, came off easily from the bone. I served with polenta (click here to see the recipe), cheese and mango ketchup (click here).

Pentru 1 kg de pulpa de miel cu os am folosit 3 linguri de sos de menta ,1 lingura oregano, 2 linguri ulei de masline, zeama de la o portocala,100 ml vin rosu partial dezalcoolizat , sare , piper dupa plac. Carnea impreuna cu restul de ingrediente se pun intr-o punga cu fermoar(click aici) , se scoate aerul din punga si se inchide. Masam foarte bine carnea si o lasam la frigider pentru 24 ore.
Daca nu aveti un sos de menta cumparat puteti prepara unul acasa foarte usor.

40 gr zahar brun

Ingredientele se freaca intr-un mojar pana rezulta o compozitie vascoasa sau se amesteca intr-un blender.
Carnea marinata am adaugat-o cu totul in vasul slow cooker-ului si se seteaza oala pentru 3,5 ore pe functia high.
Am folosit un termometru special pentru carne(click aici) pentru a verifica cand carnea este suficient de gatita pentrua putea fi consumata in conditii sigure.
Carnea suculenta si foarte moale, usor aromata, s-a desprins usor de pe os. Am servit cu mamaliguta la slow cooker(click aici pentru a vedea reteta) , branza de burduf si ketchup de mango(click aici).
